Progress stored by the game

Ringbound stores challenge dates and run history, scores and gameplay metrics, Weekly goal progress, streaks, medals, settings, purchase entitlement information, and pending leaderboard submissions on your device. Your saved challenge medals are also used to calculate Career Points. These records let you keep progress, restore preferences, and retry eligible score submissions.

When iCloud is available, saved game progress may also sync through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage across devices using the same account. This can include challenge history and metrics, medals, settings, purchase entitlement records, and pending scores. Apple provides the iCloud service. Saves and pending submissions are separated by Game Center player identity when an account is connected.

Game Center

When you use Game Center, Ringbound uses Apple’s game-specific player identifier to keep each player’s progress separate. Eligible personal-best scores are submitted to the Daily or Weekly leaderboard for the exact challenge in which they were earned. Ringbound also submits Career Points to the All Time leaderboard, using your best eligible medal for each UTC day and week: Bronze 1, Silver 2, Gold 3 and Master 4. Retries can improve that award; they do not add duplicate points. Career Points do not reset. Your Game Center nickname, avatar and leaderboard scores can be visible to other players. See Apple’s Game Center privacy information. You can manage Game Center in your device’s Settings.

Offline results are saved locally. Daily and Weekly submissions are sent only while their original leaderboard occurrence remains active; expired scores are not transferred to a later challenge. Saved Career Points can sync later because All Time has no recurring reset.

Optional purchases

Apple handles cosmetic and supporter purchases. Ringbound uses verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to unlock purchases, restore them, and respond to refunds or revocations. The app does not receive your payment card details.

Reminders and sharing

Reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device after you enable them in Settings. Ringbound does not use a remote notification service. You can change or disable reminders at any time.

Sharing a result opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination. The selected service handles the shared content under its own policies; Ringbound does not receive your recipients or contacts.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. It does not request contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone, health information, or an email address to play. There is no separate Ringbound account or developer-operated gameplay server.

Apple may provide the publisher with app performance, sales, and aggregated analytics under its platform policies and your device settings. For Apple services, see Apple’s privacy policy.

This website and support email

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Its hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect its pages under their own service policies.

Email sent to contact@alpyalay.org is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to Gmail, where Alp Yalay checks the inbox. Cloudflare and Google process this correspondence under their respective service policies. Alp Yalay receives your email address and the information you choose to include, and uses it to reply, investigate the issue, and maintain relevant support records. Please send only what is needed to explain the problem.

Retention and deletion

Device saves remain until removed with the app or through device storage controls. Deleting the app may not delete an iCloud copy, which can restore when you reinstall. iCloud, Game Center records, and purchase history are managed through Apple’s account and privacy controls.
